Autonomous vehicles for collecting waste

Ursa Robotics is building self-driving electric vehicles for waste collection.

Our aim is to solve the first-mile collection problem for the waste management industry and set cities free from slow, noisy and smelly garbage collection trucks.

Since we believe that dirty work must not be done manually, our aim is to make the process of waste collection entirely automated.

We are going to replace the existing communal bins and garbage trucks with automated containers. They are capable of working at night and collecting garbage whenever it is most convenient for the residents and for the city traffic.

Such vehicles, being fully automated, make waste collection more efficient and flexible and significantly cut costs on waste management. But most importantly, they relieve people of the necessity of doing the dirty work manually.

Due to the nature of the waste management problem, the project is well scalable, being of great social and ecological importance worldwide.
